I’m a Feminist
I’ve been thinking about it and I think I can say I’m a feminist.
Someone tell me if I’m just delusionally wrong, ok?
I see the world for deeper than what its face value. I constantly explore the motivations and influences that cause disparity between the sexes and the races and the nationalities. I think about what I can do in my life to safeĀ guardĀ from falling into the ways that lead to acceptance of what’s not right. I bring these ideas up to those around me and they listen. I see a beauty in women that I don’t think others see and I embrace that in myself. It’s not okay to me that I should do things I don’t want to do because I am a woman. I acknowledge that I enjoy a lot of the things I enjoy because I am a woman.
I just think differently. Believe differently. And care differently. In a way that makes someone say “I think you’re right, but what can you do?” and I say “You can do whatever you want to do…”
